Description
The Armstrong Fluid Technology 89975001-81703K Mechanical Seal Kit is used to restore the sealing ability in pump units that move water or glycol in HVAC systems. It consists of a mechanical seal, gasket and other parts that work together to ensure that there is no leakage around the pump shaft and casing as the pump is operating. It is mounted in circulating pumps in heating and cooling water loops to assist in the controlled movement of fluids in pipes and heat exchangers. As part of the pump maintenance section it helps maintain operating conditions and ensures stable circulation.
