The Amana-Goodman TX2N2 1.5-2 Ton Thermal Expansion Valve Kit with R-22 Refrigerant is an part of the refrigerant control in the air conditioning and heating systems. Or this kit consists of Thermal expansion valve which regulates the amount of refrigerant admitted into the evaporator coil depending on the cooling load of the system. The TXV works on the principle of detecting the superheated refrigerant that comes out of the evaporator. This puts more load on the available cooling capacity and the TXV opens up to allow flow of the through decreasing the evaporator temperature. The TXV constricts the volume of the flowing through the unit in an effort to optimize the flow characteristics of the system.
