The Amana-Goodman HKTPD051 5kW Electric Heat Strip Kit W/Circuit Breaker is an electric auxiliary heating kit that provides supplemental heat in compatible HVAC systems air handlers and packaged units. It generates heat through resistance elements as air passes across the assembly, increasing supply air temperature during heating demand or low outdoor conditions. It operates as abackup or staged heat support when primary heating capacity is insufficient. The integrated circuit breaker offers built-in electrical protection against overload conditions.
