The Amana-Goodman CONT3P030024VS Contactor is an integral accessory for different HVAC systems. It is a 24V, 30A, 3-pole contactor, which is used control the high power electrical circuit with low voltage command signal. In other words, it works as a switch to control larger electrical load with help of a remote. In the case of a low voltage signal, the contactor then makes its contacts close to allow high current flow through the circuit and hence power the HVAC systems. This allows the system to function safely and optimally and at the same time sparing the control elements the stress of constant operation.
