The Amana-Goodman 0270D01779S Uncased Evaporator Coil Assembly is an indoor refrigeration component used in cooling and heat pump systems to transfer heat between indoor air and refrigerant. It is installed within HVAC systems inside the air handling section, where warm return air passes over the coil surface allowing the refrigerant inside the tubing to absorb heat & lower the air temperature. It is circulated back through the duct system to maintain indoor comfort levels.
