Description
The Amana-Goodman 0151R00197S Thermal Expansion Valve is an essential component of the air conditioning and refrigeration systems in residential and light commercial buildings. When the load increases the valve will go to the larger position to allow more coolant to flow into the evaporator to cater for the cooling demand of the evaporator. On the other hand when the load is low, the TXV regulates the amount of coolant that goes to the evaporator so that a large amount of coolant that will not be effective and may harm the evaporator is not passed.
