Description
The Amana-Goodman 0151R00162 Thermal Expansion Valve is designed for air conditioning and refrigeration systems. In particular, it is applicable to systems with a 7-ton capacity and uses R410A refrigerant. This critical component has the main function of controlling the amount of the liquid refrigerant to the evaporator. It works by having its inlet and outlet temperature and pressure parameters to provide the sensitivity of the evaporator to the refrigerant flow. When the evaporator load changes, the valve regulates the refrigerant flow in order to maintain the flow rate of the system and maintain cooling performance.
