Description
The Amana-Goodman 0151M00075 Thermal Expansion Valve is designed for use with R410A refrigerant in 5-ton air conditioning and heat pump systems. This TXV controls the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator. Its action is based on sensing the temperature of refrigerant flowing from the evaporator and regulating its flow accordingly. It guarantees that the refrigerant is traveling through it optimally allowing for the most efficient heat transfer and preventing the liquid refrigerant from getting in the compressor where it can damage. Improved system efficiency means improved refrigerant control, which, in turn, reduces energy consumption. Consistent temperatures can be maintained by the optimal refrigerant flow.
