These currents can originate from several things, such as electromagnetic interference, lightning strikes, and even routine system functioning. The grounding ring prevents these currents from reaching sensitive equipment like motors, transformers, and other electrical components by providing a low-resistance route to the ground for them. The ring’s split design makes installation easy. This is composed of two stainless steel components that are separated by a black oxide finish to prevent corrosion. Two split rings, four mounting screws, and two insulating washers are included in the kit, making it suitable for shafts with a diameter of up to 42mm.
