Description
The Aaon V62780 Flame Sensor is a part of different HVAC systems and is mainly used in rooftop units and air handlers. Its function is to act as a flame sensor and to identify the presence of a flame in the burner assembly during the heating cycle. This is done through flame rectification where the sensor rod collects current from the ionized particles in the flame and gives a small current to the control board. This improves safety, validates efficiency of heating system through checking ignition and avoids wastage of fuel.
