Description
The A.O. Smith 9002442015 Electric Heater Element 4500W works by transforming electricity into heat to increase and sustain water temperature within the tank of the heater in an HVAC system. Electric current flows when power is supplied enters the internal resistive coil which produces heat which is transferred directly to the surrounding water. This will enable the heater to heat water uniformly and keep the desired temperature by cycling the heater. The element works together with the thermostat and it switches on when the water temperature falls and goes off when the desired level is reached. This working mechanism provides a constant supply, facilitates efficient heating and enables consistent operation.
