Description
The Trane ANO00028 Zinc Plug Anode assists in preventing corrosion of water-handling equipment by offering a sacrificial metal corrosion surface that draws in the corrosive elements. It is utilized in HVAC water systems in tanks or piping to minimize the degradation of internal surfaces. It is 2″ in diameter with a 2″ NPT connection and 8.0″ long, which is easy to fit into existing assemblies. This material corrodes gradually instead of the components of the system, which lengthens the equipment life, sustains the water quality, and assists in the stable work of boilers, water heaters, and hydronic circuits.
