Description
The Rheem-Ruud 43-25135-25 Dual Oval Capacitor 45/3 MFD 440V is an electrical component used to provide phase shift and starting torque for compressor and fan motors. It combines two capacitance ratings in a single housing to support dual-motor configurations commonly found in air conditioning condensers and heat pump units in HVAC systems. It is installed within outdoor condensing units or an air handler assembly, and it supports maintaining motor efficiency during start-up and steady operation. The capacitor is connected in series with motor windings, contributing to a stable electrical circuit system cycling in commercial applications.
