Description
The Sporlan Controls 4314-00 Normally Closed Solenoid Valve is an electrically controlled component used to regulate the circulation of refrigerant in and out of the piping in HVAC systems. It has a 1-1/8 outside diameter connection, and it is usually closed such that when not energized, it remains closed, and when required by the system, it can be used to direct a flow of refrigerant. It is mounted in heat pumps or commercial refrigeration units and air conditioners and can be controlled by a signal to a thermostat or control board to turn the flow of refrigerant on or off.
