The MARS 11913 Round Start Capacitor supplies the short electrical improve required when motors begin operation. The 145-174 MFD rating refers to the capacitor’s ability to store and release electrical charge, which determines the strength of the starting energy delivered to the motor. The 125V rating indicates the highest voltage level the capacitor can operate under during use. It is commonly applied in compressors and single-phase motors used in air conditioners, heat pumps, and similar equipment. In HVAC systems, it is placed in the start circuit to assist motor rotation during startup.
