Description
The Sporlan Controls 128860 Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) is a necessary component used to control the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator coil when cooling in HVAC systems. It is intended to be used in R-134A refrigerant applications with 1/2″ x 7/8″ ODF connections with a 5-ton capacity in moderate commercial or residential applications. It is installed in air conditioning and refrigeration machines to aid in maintaining a balanced distribution of refrigerant and its flow in response to temperature and pressure. It helps the system to sustain the normal operating temperature of the cooling performance.
