Description
The Schwank JS-0578-UL Blocked Flue Switch is a pressure sensing safety component to detect restriction or blockage in flue gas pathways. Contains a 1.03-inch water column (WC), it responds to abnormal pressure conditions within the exhaust system and triggers an electrical signal to the control circuit. It is commonly applied in gas-fired heaters and other HVAC systems where flue monitoring is required during combustion operation. Installed within the flue sensing line, the switch communicates pressure changes to regulate system response during airflow or exhaust disruption conditions.
