Description
The York S1-025-43288-000 Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) is a refrigerant metering component used to control the amount of flow entering the evaporator coil in an HVAC systems. It has a temperature-sensitive element that controls refrigerant flow between the liquid line and evaporator to suit the changing loads to achieve optimum superheat. It has 3/8 x 5/8 ODF connections and is used in liquid and evaporator lines of residential and light commercial air conditioners and heat pumps. It is fitted in the refrigerant circuit and balances the refrigerant feed to facilitate effective heat absorption, constant cooling and synchronized system operation.
