The Xylem-Bell & Gossett 115115 Suction Diffuser Plus 2.5″ X 2″ CB-3 is used in the hydronic pumping elements to enhance suction and ensure that pumps are not prone to turbulence and air entrapment in HVAC systems. It is fitted at the suction inlet of the pump to smooth incoming fluid flow vibration and uneven pressure to facilitate smooth pump operation. Its presence in the system is vital, towards ensuring the constant flow, increasing the efficiency of the pumps and mitigating damage of the mechanical parts.
