Description
The Trane DHY1479 Filter Drier is used to prevent pollution in refrigerant to protect the elements from running smoothly. It has desiccant media that absorb water and remove particles as refrigerant flows through it, avoiding corrosion and obstruction. It is intended to be used in residential and commercial HVAC systems such as air conditioners, heat pumps and chillers connected by 1 1-1/8″ ODF tubing to the refrigerant line. It assists in maintaining steady cooling operation, aids in the maintenance of proper refrigerant flow, and also helps in maintaining stable system operation.
