Description
The Trane COL25247 Outdoor Coil is a heat exchanger that transfers thermal energy between the refrigerant, and outdoor air in HVAC systems. It works by having, the refrigerant flow through a network of tubes and fins with outdoor air passing over. The coil surface rejects heat during cooling, or absorbs heat in a heat pump condition. It is based on the controlled refrigerant flow, and surface contact which enable efficient thermal exchange. It requires that it be installed in the outside condensing part, and linked to the refrigerant circuit.
