Description
The Sporlan Controls 170047 5″ Thermostatic Expansion Valve ERZE-10-GA is a metering part used to regulate the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator. It is sized for 5″ × 7″ × 2″ ODF connections, it senses superheat and adjusts refrigerant delivery to match cooling load, maintaining proper heat transfer. It is used in the liquid line just opposite of the evaporator coil, the valve works with the compressor and metering components to stabilize system pressure, support efficient cooling performance, and protect equipment in system applications.
