Description
The Sporlan Controls 168507 9 -Ton Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) is a refrigerant control component used to regulate the flow into the evaporator section of the HVAC systems. It has ODF connections of 5/8″ x 7/8″ and is calibrated to refrigerant R134A in order to detect superheat refrigerant flow in normal cooling modes. It is found in commercial air conditioning and heat pump equipment that requires metering of refrigerant requirements. The regulation of refrigerant distribution aids in the maintenance of consistent heat exchange on the corresponding elements in the general working conditions.
