The Sporlan Controls 102182 Thermostatic Expansion Valve is a flow-regulating element that regulates the flow of refrigerant into evaporator sections to maintain proper pressure balance during cooling cycles in equipment. This unit operates with temperature-sensitive modulation of 1/4 ton with 3/8 inch by 1/2 inch SAE connections and 5 foot extension, which allows it to be used in metering connected lines in HVAC systems accurately. Its design allows it to fit properly in the liquid line sections and can be fitted. It enhances better refrigerant management, efficient evaporation and stable cooling output in different demand conditions.
