Rheem-Ruud RCFZ4821STANMC 4-ton Evaporator Coil is a case-based, indoor coil that has a nominal capacity of 48,000 BTU, has a refrigerant capacity of R-410A and is fitted with a TXV metering component to control the flow of refrigerant in HVAC systems in residential furnace and split system uses. It operates by permitting the transfer of heat to refrigerant in air flowing over aluminum fins and internally grooved tubing, which permits the transfer of heat. Constructed in a 21-inch wide cabinet with multi-position airflow capability, it can be installed in upflow, downflow or horizontal applications.
