Description
The Rheem-Ruud AP24421 Pressure Switch is a pressure sensing control component used in gas heating equipment to monitor air or gas pressure levels during operation. It is installed within HVAC systems in furnaces and water heating units where it detects proper draft or pressure conditions before allowing system start-up. The switch is connected through a 1/2″ NPT port and interfaces with the control circuit to confirm safe operating conditions before ignition. It is used in compatible residential and commercial heating applications to support correct sequencing of burner activation and system operation under controlled pressure conditions.
