The Ox Box JAYHTR1A15BKRA Aluminum Air Handler Heater Kit is an electric heater assembly used to provide additional heat in air handlers in HVAC systems. It has 15 kilowatts of heating capacity through aluminum heating elements that warm air as it passes through the air handler plenum. It is used inside system air handler units. It works with the system blower to distribute conditioned warm air when additional heat is needed. It supports comfort heating during colder periods, and integrates with the thermostats, and controls to maintain set temperatures.
