The Copeland ZPD120KCE-TFD-965 Digital Scroll Compressor is a temperature-limited component used to pump refrigerant in the cooling system with adjustable capacity in HVAC systems. It is powered by a 460-volt, three-phase power supply with a technology to change the displacement by periodically unloading scroll elements to improve part-load performance. It is installed outside of air conditioners, heat pumps, or chiller systems and is attached to both refrigerant lines and electrical supply, depending on the design of the system, to provide consistent cooling operation in commercial and larger residential HVAC systems.
