Description
The Carrier HK02ZA403 High Pressure Switch is used in air conditioning and heat pump systems to protect the refrigerant circuit from excessive discharge levels. In HVAC systems, it is typically installed on the high-pressure side near the compressor outlet where it continuously monitors system head during operation. When it exceeds a calibrated safety limit, the switch opens the control circuit to shut down and prevent damage to components such as coils, tubing and the compressor. It pressure returns to a safe range, it allows the system to resume normal operation, supporting and protecting performance.
