Description
The Packard CH2552 Crankcase Heater is an element that is applied to regulate the right temperature in the compressors of HVAC systems. Its primary purpose is to reduce the flow of refrigerant by providing a controlled heat generation of 100 watts and a 120-volt power supply. This heat is produced through the use of an internal resistive element, which heats the crankcase when not in use. The electrical connection is required for the heater on the compressor housing. This heater contributes to keeping the oil viscosity.
