Description
The Rheem-Ruud 47-104990-03 Limit Switch is an automatic reset temperature control rated for an L170F open and L150F close differential, designed to monitor and regulate heat levels in heating equipment. It is used in HVAC systems within furnaces and air handling unit where it interrupts electrical circuits when internal temperatures exceed safe operating limits and restores continuity once condition drop within the reset range. The switch operates through a temperature-sensitive bimetal element that responds to airflow and heat changes inside the system.
