Description
The Watts 0559130 Hot Water Extender Tempering Valve LF70AT is used to combine hot and cold water to provide a regulated outlet temperature and prevent scalding in HVAC systems, in hydronic heating, and supplemental hot water circuits. It has a thermostatic element proportional to supply temperatures to keep a predetermined range between 120 and 160 degrees Fahrenheit. It is installed in-line on a 1/2″ NPT connection close to the point of use or mixing point, and it responds to temperature variations to ensure consistent delivery, enhancing the system.
