Description
The Trane SWT3543 SPST High Pressure Switch BRZD is a refrigerant control component used to monitor compressor discharge pressure. In HVAC systems, it is installed on the high-pressure side of the circuit where it tracks operating conditions during cooling cycle. When pressure exceeds the calibrated limit, the switch open the control circuit to stop compressor operation and prevent equipment damage. It resets automatically once pressure returns to a normal range, maintain pressure control, protects the compressor and support stable system performance in residential and light commercial applications.
