Description
The Sporlan Controls 169473 2-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is used to regulate the flow of refrigerant and control superheat efficiency and to prevent compressor damage. It will be used with the R4140A refrigerant and has 3/8″ x 1/2″ ODF connections, which enable the refrigerant to flow into the evaporator coil to be modulated to a fine degree. It is used in residential and light commercial HVAC systems and is directly installed in the liquid line close to the evaporator inlet and is connected to the sensing bulb appropriately.
