Description
The Sporlan Controls 108187 Thermostatic Expansion Valve provides a controlled delivery of refrigerant when in operation and is primarily utilized in refrigeration and cooling equipment that use R404A whereby precise superheat control is needed. The valve is attached to the inlet of the evaporator by 3/8″ x 5/8″ ODF connections and the large 30-inch external sensing bulb is firmly clamped to the suction line. In the entire unit, it facilitates equal distribution of refrigerant and protection of components, which adds to the stability of operating in HVAC systems.
