Description
The Rheem-Ruud PD425162 2-Pole Relay is an electromechanical switching component used to control electrical circuits through a low-voltage signal. It is commonly applied to manage the operation of compressors, fan motors, and other load-bearing components by opening or closing power circuits based on control board commands. When energized, the relay switches connected loads on or off to support coordinated equipment operation. It is typically used within air handling units, furnaces, or condensing systems as part of the control circuit to ensure proper electrical switching between the thermostat or control module and high-voltage components within HVAC systems.
