The Trane MOT16957 Fan Motor is a multipurpose powerhouse intended to provide effective and variable air circulation in your Trane heating and cooling system. Unlike the common single speed motors, the MOT16957 comes with ECM technology, which enables it to cover a broad range of speeds of between 200 and 1500 RPM depending on your needs. The ball bearings make the operation smooth and a TE enclosure shields the motor from dust and dirt. It has the feature of reversible rotation CW and also allows the shaft diameter of 0.5 inches for easy installation. The Trane MOT16957 is usually used for furnace blower applications, variable air handler blower applications that needs variable capacity within a Trane HVAC system.
