The Trane COM10061 is an essential in residential and commercial HVAC systems and serves as positive displacement scroll compressor, as earlier expounded upon. This design provides better performance, low noise level, and high efficiency when compared to piston compressors. The COM10061 is a robust machine with a cast iron body. This is approximately 20” length by 14.5” width, and is rather sensitive to be moved around during installation. This particular model is intended for R410A refrigerant and will run on a single phase 208/230V at either 50 or 60 Hz power source.
