The HTP 7250P-049 Flame Rectification Probe is a gas-fired HVAC systems combustion safety part, such as boilers and water heaters. It senses the existence of a flame by sensing the electrical current produced in the combustion process and sends an indication to the control board to ensure that the ignition is correct. Installation placing the probe in the burner assembly to ensure that the flame is in direct contact with the probe and the electrical connections are correct. It checks on combustion to ensure a safe flow of gases and effective heating cycles.
