The Heatcraft Refrigeration 2891550 Dual Pressure Control Switch regulates equipment, which is used to measure high- and low-side pressure in HVAC systems. The dual pressure switch has 20-100 VAC range on one side and 100-425 VAC range on the other side, allowing it to be controlled to open or close electrical contacts on reaching pre-set pressure limits. It is installed in refrigerant circuits of air conditioners, heat pumps, and refrigeration equipment and provides an indication of system pressures to the control system, which then initiates, terminates, or protects compressors.
