Daikin-McQuay 106489113 4-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is a refrigerant flow control component used to regulate the amount of R410A, entering the evaporator. It is designed with a 30-inch capillary tube and a non-adjustable setting calibrated for stable metering performance in cooling and heating systems. It is applied in HVAC systems, within air conditioning and heat pump assemblies to maintain proper superheat control and efficient heat exchange. It is installed at the evaporator inlet where it continuously modulate refrigerant flow, based on system condition supporting consistent cooling performance and stable operating efficiency, during load variation.
