Description
The Copeland Comfort Control (Alco) 066553 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) control refrigerant flow to the evaporator coil for commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems. Installed on 1/8-tonne cooling units with R404A refrigerant, the valve regulates refrigerant flow to meet system need ensuring adequate superheat and cooling performance. The assembly is designed to fit into the compatible refrigerant piping and evaporator circuits and has 1/4-inch x 1/2-inch ODF connections with an angle body. The TXV is located in the designated liquid line section and help to meter refrigerant, maintain temperature stability, and ensure proper operation of the refrigeration system.
