Description
The Cleveland Controls AFS-262-444 Air Pressure Control measures the airflow, or pressure conditions and switches according to predetermined thresholds to aid in operational control, and safety in HVAC systems. It works by detecting the change in pressure using an internal diaphragm, and closing electrical contacts when the set point is achieved. It works based on the positive or negative air pressure to check the airflow or system condition. It is placed on duct surfaces and is connected through tubing to control circuits. Its application assists in verifying the correct airflow, equipment protection and the dependability of the system operation.
