Description
The Bradford White FT2085 Flame Sensor Assembly Detector is a combustion component used in gas heating equipment to check the presence of an active flame during burner operation. It detects flame current at the burner and communicates this signal to the control system to allow continued gas flow. In HVAC systems related water heating parts and boilers, it is positioned within the burner assembly to monitor ignition accuracy and ensure stable combustion. If flame is not detected, the system initiates a shutdown to stop fuel supply, supporting to protect the equipment from unsafe operating conditions and maintain controlled heating performance.
