Description
The ABB ACH180-04S-12A6-4 7.5HP Variable Frequency Drive 11A is an electrical component that controls the motor speed of the fan, pump, or compressor of an HVAC systems. It works in three-phase, modulating the frequency and 480 VAC provided to the connected motors, which makes it possible to fine-tune the output of the motor and the efficiency of the system. This mechanism is based on sophisticated electronic circuitry to decode the input signals, and adjust the motor activity according to the input signals. It consists of installation in a suitable electrical housing and linking with the motor and control system.
