Description
The HTP 7550P-382 Flame Rectification Probe detects the presence of a flame by sensing ionization current within combustion systems. In HVAC systems, it is used in boilers and heating units to verify burner ignition and confirm safe flame establishment during operation. The probe is positioned near the burner assembly, where it continuously monitors flame status and sends a signal to the control module. This helps ensure the gas valve remains open only when a stable flame is present, supporting safe ignition cycles, preventing unburned fuel release, and maintaining controlled combustion performance within the heating appliance.
