The York S1-02427551700 1/8HP Condenser Motor is designed to drive the outdoor fan assembly in air conditioning equipment. It converts electrical power into rotational movement, turning the condenser fan to move air across the outdoor coil and release heat from the refrigerant circuit. In split air conditioners, heat pumps and packaged HVAC systems, the motor supports the outdoor section during cooling operation.
