Description
The York S1-02543284000 Smoke Detector Sensor W/O Harness is used to detect the presence of particles and activate the elements to provide safety responses in air handler and packaged unit HVAC systems. It works based on an internal sensing component that measures air conditions and sends an alarm in case of smoke concentration levels. It is installed in the duct area or the return air section and connected to the control system of the unit to shut down or activate an alarm. Its operation assists in early detection, prevents equipment damage, and ensures safe system operation under certain conditions.
