Description
The York S1-01504615004 Scroll Compressor ZP51K6E-PFV-830 compress low pressure refrigerant vapor into a high-pressure gas as it moves through the refrigeration circuit. Inside the compressor two interlocking scrolls progressively reduce the space occupied by the incoming vapor, increasing its pressure before discharge. Installed within the outdoor condensing unit it send the compressed refrigerant toward the condenser for heat rejection. This compression process keeps refrigerant circulating through HVAC systems during active cooling operation. By continuously moving vapor from the low side to the high side the scroll mechanism maintains the refrigerant flow required for the cooling cycle.
