The Trane COM09373 Compressor is designed for air conditioning equipment using R-410A refrigerant. It presses and circulates refrigerant through the cooling circuit allowing heat to be removed from indoor air and released outdoors. In residential and light commercial split or packaged HVAC systems this component serves as the central pumping unit within the refrigeration cycle.
